I know the spas are not open yet due to the lockdown caused by the Coronavirus outbreak but don’t let it deter you. With chamomile essential oil and lavender essential oil, you can de-stress and experience calm and tranquility.
Here are a few things you can do to de-stress:
FOOT SOAK WITH FOOT MASSAGE:
Try soaking your feet in warm water for twenty minutes. Add a few drops of lavender and chamomile essential oils to the warm water with a few sea salt and let your feet soak. After twenty minutes, add a few drops of lavender and chamomile essential oils to a carrier oil like say coconut oil and massage your feet starting with your toes and moving upwards to your knees. This will help improve circulation and relax your nerves.
HOT WATER STEAMING
TO relieve stress, add a few drops of chamomile and lavender essential oils to hot water, move your face closer to the steam and cover your head with a towel. Inhale the steam for ten to fifteen minutes. You can also add rose essential oil as well. You will find your head calm down and the head ache float away. Your nerves will be relaxed and your body calmer.
USE OILS AS DIFFUSER WHILE MEDITATING
Meditating is a great way to calm the mind so find a quite spot and add lavender and chamomile essential oils to an oil burner or to your diffuser and keep company with yourself while you inhale the fragrant scents.
USE OILS FOR DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
Massage is one of the easiest ways to relief stress so combine chamomile and lavender essential oils with a carrier oil or organic butter like Shea butter and massage your body with it. You will feel relaxed and refreshed at the same time.
