Eucalyptus oil does the following:
It serves to relief cough and nasal congestion. To benefit, add a few drops to moderate hot water and steam with your head under a towel. You can also spray it on handkerchiefs to inhale rather than buying an inhaler.
It helps as an allergy support so I usually mix it with peppermint oil and some water to spray my beddings and my rooms as it also purifies the air.
It also functions as insect repellent and you can make a spray with water to sprinkle on your body when you are outdoor.
Other functions include its ability to heal wounds, cold sores, joint pain and to freshen the breathe. To benefit, you can add eucalyptus oil to carrier oils or butters and use to massage into the skin.
To apply eucalyptus oil on the skin, add it to carrier oils rather than applying directly. AND DO NOT DRINK eucalyptus oil rather you can make a mouth wash of 1 drop of oil mixed with water and gargle to freshen your breath, treat gum disease, tooth decay and cold sores.
